Trek to thalle Laa and Deosai Plato
Thalle La one of the few exciting trek and short excursion place,the vally provides non-glaciated passes and one of ,wonderfull lends scape of easiest short trip.
The specific Laa offer an isolote excrsion short trip as it can be crossed in either direction and from shigar trail head easily reach the Skardu town.The trek start from the town of Skardu to Thalle village drive by 03 hrs to village, to the tiny seasonal settlements of valleys where attaracting ‘’Balti culture’’ is well displayed. In terms of natural landscape also the trip is completely varied ranging from the sands of the Indus valley, by way of the lower valley, to the high snows of the spectacular peaks, which surround the Thaley La.
. The upper valley divides, and the north branch leads over the infrequently crossed Tusserpo La (5084m), while the south branch leads over the easier Thalle La (455m). Both passes lead to the Bauma Lungma, with runs south-west to Shigar. The british, who Traked through the route between 1891 and 1947, preferred the Thalle La between Skardu and Khaplu, as it offered grazing for their pack animals.
