Masherbrum /K1 (7825-M )
 Masherbrum or K1 is the highest peak of Masherbrum group lies in the range of Karakoram. It’s located in Hushe village is of district Ghangche Baltistan.The access of Base camp is quite easy as it take two days to Base Camp from Hushe. It is a large and striking peak, which is somewhat overshadowed by the nearby 8,000 meters (26,000 ft) peaks of the main range of the Karakoram which includes four of the fourteen Eight-thou sanders, namely K2, Gasherbrum I, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum II.
The Masherbrum Mountains lie to the south of the Baltoro Glacier and the main range of the Karakoram lies to the north of the Baltoro.
The main range is the continental divide of southern Asia.
Rivers to the south flow into the Arabian Sea. Rivers to the north flow to the Yellow Sea.
The Baltoro Glacier is the route most commonly used to access the 8000m peaks of the Karakoram, and many trekkers also travel on the Baltoro. Masherbrum also lies at the north end of the Hushe Valley, which serves as the southern approach to the peak. The first attempt was made by James Waller and his party in 1938 but deep snow forced them to surrender at an altitude of 7600 meters. In 1960, a Pak-American Expedition led by Dr.
George Bell reached the summit. The successful climbers include Willis Unsoiled, George Bell, and Nick Clinch of USA and Captain Javed Akhter of Pakistan Army.
